Hiya!! Sathya Kala,here. Thank you so much Deepu (Deepti Stephens) for inviting me as Guest Designer and this is my ever first guestie post.
Started blogging in 2011 as a quiller and due to a constant push from my dear hubby, came out from my comfort zone and now started cardmaking. Amidst of my daily mundane, Crafting acts as a therapy and am truly enjoying it!!

ReplyDeleteHi, This is simply amazing!! Can you please give us more details on the tools used for quilling intricate designs, and what are the tools which are must for beginners like me, I love quilling, and do some basic quilling but would love to make intricate designs.

ReplyDeleteWe can use things around us as tools - sewing needle as quilling needle, toothpick, skewer with slit ends as slotted tools, haircomb for husking, circular objects of various sizes as dowels for quilling. Choose a pattern and quill over it using tracing paper using pins but have control over glue usage. Keep practicing and its the key to get perfect shapes.
