T- Time- Make cards with your Acrylic blocks!! :)

Hello lovely people!!

Wishing all of you a very happy and safe Diwali!!!!!!!!!! :) :)

Hope you all are enjoying these festive days with family and friends. What a lovely day Deepti have chosen for my T-Time post....DIWALI!!! Yiyyyeee....it's my favourite festival. :) :)

So.....moving to the post. We all are creating our cards with stamps and fix our stamps on clear acrylic blocks. So I am sharing here how we can make our background for cards with using our blocks. :)
P.S. - As the current challenge is create cards with one stamp set..I have used only one stamp set for my T-Time post too... :)

 All you need is...

  • Acrylic Blocks (different sizes)
  • Distress Inks
  • Water Mister
  • Card stock
  • Black ink
  • Some stamps
Here comes lots of pics with captions for easy understanding...

All the things you need....

I have started with smallest block and inked with Aged Mahogany and Worn Lipstick distress inks..

Spray some water with water mister....

Press it equally on your CS...

It looks like this....

If you are not happy with the out come....press it again as I did....

Final look... ;)

Now use another set of distress inks...Tumbled Glass & Peacock Feathers...this time I have used my big Acrylic block...

Place wherever you want and press it.....

I have repeated the small block on the big one...

Here is the card.....I have used my Versafine black ink for all the stamped images. Cut the design and chomped the corners and pasted it on black CS then on white CS again. .embellished it with BT and pearl.

Used this stamp set for making this card..

Made one more card with this block  BG technique....

Hope you like my work and create your own magical BGs coz every time you will get new design and effects..... Thanks for stopping!!

VINTAGE CARD USING ONE STAMP SET

Hello Friends , Its Ramya here... Hope you all are doing good and we have an exciting challenge at CSCC this month. Today its my turn to share my creation with you.
Actually I dont have any clear stamp set with me and I have'nt tried stamping with clear stamp so far. This is the biggest  advantage of being a DT. I had to come out of my comfort zone and try something new and exciting.  Now have a look at the card that I have created.

I bought a tim holtz clear stamp set. Since the stamps are best suitable for vintage themed cards I  created the same.

My stamp set had more stamps than that can be accommodated in a card so I created a small tag too.

I started off by taking a white cardstock and applied homemade texture paste over alphabet stencil. Then applied watercolours to get the brown colour. Distressed the edges black ink. I stamped each one on a separate cardstock and glued them to my card. The blooms are handmade.

I had so much fun creating this card and am very happy with the way the card turned out. So you too have fun by playing with us along CSCC #8 . Stay tuned for more inspiration from our talented catchy girls.

CSCC #8 A Card with only ONE stamp set

Hello friends
Again welcome on our challenge blog . We have new challenge for you , and its unique challenge. For this you have to create card with one stamp set .For my card I used MME "follow your heart"

First I created background with 'honey stamp "from the stamp set and distressed the whole panel with
 inks

Then I used a medical gauge ,...just to add drama to my card.

 Inside panel of card

Used spotlight technique ,which was once shown by our DT and owner of catchy challenges,Deepti Stephen. I stamped largest stamp of set as my main focus ,on a card piece and did fussy cutting of it ,then spotlighted some images like balloon, chair, cage, flourish etc on it.Other images like butterflies, sentiments all are from same stamp set.I Adhered card with many sub linings below it.

Standing view of card,.............hope you all like it.

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting.
Please hop on our challenge blog to participate. :)
